Topstoxx Graphic Arts - Support Law Enforcement

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while since I posted but I have some pretty exciting news. Everyone who knows me, knows I am a creative person. I have loved art since I was little and I’m always drawing, painting, woodworking or designing artwork in Photoshop.

Well, I’m excited to announce that I have just launched my graphic arts venture with the first couple of designs dedicated to our law enforcement heroes. As you can see from the picture above, my designs will be available as apparel such as t-shirts and hoodies, as well as cell phone cases, hats, mugs and other gift items.

I was proud to dedicate my first designs to the men and women in blue who serve and protect us everyday. As a former police officer, I know personally the hard work, sacrifice and dedication that is required to what they do and to do it well. As much as the media trys to demonize police for their actions, I feel that it is important to let our officers know that we appreciate their service for us.

If you would like to order your own “We Support You” t-shirt or gift item, just hop on over to the T-Shirt Shop and we’ll get that right out to you!

I look forward to bringing you lots more designs and please visit the blog often for updates and new artwork as it becomes available. I have also started doing pre-made book covers for indie authors as well. If you are a writer, or know someone who is, then check out the awsome collection of cover designs here.

Hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll see you in the next post!

1885 Texas Courthouse

1885 Courthouse Texas Courthouse

Last week, my wife and I traveled to Center, TX for a church choir performance at White Rock Missionary Baptist Church. On our way home, we took a few side roads and went through the town square of Center and came up on this 1885 Texas courthouse complex.

As soon as I saw the old Texas courthouse in the middle of the square, I knew I had to get a few shots. This building just had a lot of character and architectural interest. You never know what you might find when you travel the back roads of America!

Historic Keatchi

The Cathey House in Keatchi, LA

We took a little trip south of the Shreveport-Bossier City area into rural Louisiana to get a few pics of the historic town of Keatchi.

Keatchi, LA has several old buildings and homes that date back to pre-Civil War times. I have noticed this old antebellum home every time I have been through here and have always wanted to get some shots of it. It really is an interesting subject to photograph. I do have to say, though, that my favorite capture was of the daffodils growing in front of the house with the evening sun coming across.

As interesting as photographing old buildings can be, I just can’t imagine anyone letting a beautiful, historic home like this fall into abandonment.

Mardi Gras Parade

Mardi Gras Parade - Minden, LA

Here are a few photos from the 2016 Mardi Gras Parade in Minden, LA. Beads were landing everywhere! I think one of the passing floats was actually trying to see if they could land a bead necklace on my camera and tripod!
